 CDS Preparation Tips

Each and every year many aspirants appear in CDS exam to become the part of Indian Armed Forces. Moreover the level is also increasing day by day. Aspirants who are well prepared can clear the exam easily. If you want to crack CDS so you need good preparation.

Candidates who are planning to appear for the CDS, they first check the exam pattern and then go for the syllabus. Understanding the exam pattern and syllabus will  help them to create good planning for the preparation.

CDS exam is the exam conducted by UPSC to select eligible candidates for IMA (Indian Military Academy), INA (Indian Naval Academy), AFA ( Air Force Academy), and OTA (Officers Training Academy). First exam of CDS or CDS 1 2020 was on 2 feb. 2020 and CDS 2 will be scheduled to held on 8 nov. 2020. It means now the time when you need to do good preparation.

Exam Pattern

It consists 3 subjects General knowledge, English and Mathematics. Each subject has a paper of 100 marks with 2 hours time duration. Candidates who want to join INA, IMA and AFA have to give and clear all the 3 papers whereas candidates who want to join OTA have to face only two exams, English and General Knowledge.

Syllabus

Candidates must have knowledge about topic and Syllabus. Candidate who want to clear exam he/she has to be familiar with the syllabus. Given below I am sharing some important topics according to subject.

UPSC CDS Physical And Medical Exam

In the Defense sector with mental preparation we need Physical preparation also. You have to clear physical exam as well as Medical exam. For this you can follow the given tips

- Do exercise and training daily

- Eat healthy food and take proper diet

- Must get full body check up before going for exam

Personal Interview

After completing the CDS exam, you have to face personal interview which conducted by SSB. In this interview they will test your personality, intelligence and ability to hold ranks in the defense forces. this interview includes many components like Group Discussion, Intelligence Test, Outdoor Activities, Physical Fitness etc.

- Be confident. You must be able to express yourself without any hesitation
