Tips to crack IIT JEE

Those who are aspiring to pursue engineering through the IIT's need to clear the two most important exams JEE main & JEE Advanced. Around 13 lacs people appear in the IIT JEE Exam every year for admission to colleges such as IIT's, NIT's, IIT's ( Indian Institute Of Information Technology ) and other 19 centrally Funded Technical Institutions ( CFTIs).
 
JEE is the one of the toughest entrance examinations but you can crack it by the right preparation and strategies. To crack the JEE it is not necessary coaching or something else. In this article I will share some tips and methods which will help you to prepare for the IIT-JEE Exam at home.

 ( JEE ) Joint Entrance Examination

Joint Entrance Exam also known as JEE, is a national level engineering exam. The JEE has 2 types of exam papers  (1) JEE Main, and (2) JEE Advanced. 

JEE Main

JEE Main is an entry level exam, the difficulty level of this exam is lower. The score of JEE Main is accepted by NITs, IITs, and other institutions.

  • JEE Main is an objective type test conducted in offline and online modes and assesses students on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
  • JEE main has 90 questions in total with each section consisting 30 questions each.
Each section carries 120 marks, Each question is for 4 marks, total exam carries 360 marks.

JEE Advanced

After clearing the JEE Main, you are required to sit in the JEE Advanced it is compulsory for those who want seat in IITs. 
  • JEE Advanced has two papers and the pattern of the exam changes every year.
  • Most of the questions of  JEE are based on NCERT syllabus but with an advance level. 

Tips to Crack IIT JEE 

Right steps and good strategy can make huge difference. Taking small steps like study pattern and reference book help you to achieve your IIT dream. Here are some tips to follow in your preparation.

- Start from NCERT

NCERT are the base of JEE entrance exam especially for the JEE main. The most common mistake which every aspirant make is they directly start from reference book directly. NCERT books help you take the knowledge from base. It help you to firm ground concepts. Aspirants has to remember that 60-70% of the JEE main paper is based on NCERT books.

- Be Curious 

Being curious towards your goal make your way easy so you should have a curious mind and ask questions. You have to gain knowledge from every book and understand each concept. Having curious mind  will help you solve various type of questions based on the theories.

- Revise Wisely

After completion of study you must revise the concepts. when you are doing revision make sure you don't have to revise for so long time. You have to amplify your revision by solving practice question papers, this will help you to understand the concept you have studied. Or you can simply use Revisor 

- Solve mock test

.

Doing practice at home is most effective when you test yourself at regular intervals. Always try to solve mock test. After solving each and every mock test focus on weaker and strong points, Also develop a smart strategy.
